About the Festival

For the second year in a row, the VIRU TALUFEST festival is being held in Ida-Viru County.

This year, the event takes place on the grounds of the Estonian Mining Museum, located in Kohtla-Nõmme. At the Mining Museum, you can explore interactive exhibitions, enjoy the viewing platform, and book accommodations.

VIRU TALUFEST is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the distinctive culture of Estonia. At the festival, you can discover the diversity of goods from local artisans and producers, experience the spirit of the Kohtla mine, and dive into the magical atmosphere of the event. Over 400 entrepreneurs from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland will participate in the festival.

The festival program includes craft workshops, folklore group concerts, family-friendly entertainment, a craft fair, and the sale of farm products and goods. This year, a special program for entrepreneurs is planned, offering opportunities to find new clients, establish partnerships, and enter new markets.

VIRU TALUFEST stands out for its unique rustic atmosphere. The rich program and the distinctive culture of Kohtla-Järve will provide unforgettable experiences, fill you with energy, and lift your spirits. The festival is a wonderful opportunity to create pleasant memories and spend quality time with your loved ones.
